While it’s hard to believe that New Year’s Eve is almost upon us, it’s time to gather with friends, family and loved ones and raise a toast to a new year! At The Table, Wayne’s award-winning fine-dining restaurant led by chefsAlex Hardy and Tara Buzan-Hardy, has an indulgent and ultra-elevated four-course chef’s tasting in-store this New Year’s Eve. With two seatings available at 6:15pm and 8:15pm on Tuesday, December 31, the celebratory line-up of offerings include Shima Aji Carpaccio, Caviar Degustation, Hudson Valley Dry-Aged Duck Breast, White Truffle Mac N Cheese, Creekstone Prime Beef Tenderloin, Chilean Sea Bass, and Pavlova. 

This New Year’s Eve menu is priced at $150 per person with the option of adding an expertly-curated wine pairing for $95 per person. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made via Explore Tock.

Fond, the elegant and contemporary French BYOB from Chefs Lee Styer and Jessie Prawlucki-Styer, is hosting its first New Year’s Eve in the suburbs, following the recent opening in Wallingford this October. A first holiday dining experience since its previous iteration on East Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia in 2021, the Styers’ are planning a can’t miss celebration in the form of five-courses for $125 per person. Highlights from the New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu include Butternut Squash Soup with lump crab, red curry, and coconut, Seared Foie Gras with cranberry, caramelized onion cream cheese, and graham cracker, Monkfish with French lentils, truffle, and sauce beurre rouge, and Surf and Turf comprised of filet mignon, lobster risotto, pea leaves, and truffled lobster sauce.

Jansen, Mt. Airy’s contemporary and award-winning New American restaurant by Chef David Jansen, is ringing in 2025 with a meticulously crafted and imaginative prix fixe menu courtesy of Owner/Chef David Jansen and team. Diners on Tuesday, December 31 can enjoy Lobster Pithivier with fennel, beets, and lobster glace, Duck Breast Ravioli comprised of foie gras, black trumpet mushrooms, and sun choke purée, Sautéed Halibut or Roasted Sirloin each served with truffled potato galette, caramelized leek soubise, and white asparagus, and Noisette crafted with peanut butter feuilletine, gianduja mousse, and chocolate sauce.

Little Walter’s, Philadelphia’s new contemporary Polish restaurant and bar from Chef/Owner Michael Brenfleck and recently acclaimed in The New York Times’ The Restaurant List 2024for 50 Favorite Places in America Right Now, is reviving its highly-successful eight-course pierogi tasting dinner for New Year’s Eve on Tuesday, December 31 with seatings at 5:30pm and 8:30pm. The expansive selection of savory and sweet handmade pierogi includes Pierogi z Kowiorem (Polish osetra caviar, bilini pierogi, pilsudski egg salad), Pierogi Ogórkowa (raw oyster, pickle soup, sledzie apple relish), Pierogi Leniwe (porter braised lamb, roasted fennel, horseradish), Pierogi z Krabem (Maryland crab, kabanosy sauce, paprika, celery), and Pierogi Piernikowe (gingerbread, toasted marshmallow, yam water ice).

SNACKTIME, the Philadelphia based, nationally-acclaimed seven-piece band with soul, funk, punk, and R&B influences, is ringing in 2025 with its second-annual New Year’s Eve celebration dubbed SNACKTIME 2025: A SPACELUV ODYSSEY. The one-night-only event on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia (1009 Canal St, Philadelphia, PA, 19123) will include various SNACKTIME sets incorporating a mix of singles from the brand-new EP, space-themed hits and additional musical surprises, plus thematic decor and cocktails, surprise merch drops (including a long-awaited vinyl release), special guest DJ and opener, and much more. 

Presented by WXPN, SNACKTIME’S New Year’s Eve 2025 event has an “early bird” discount on ticket pricing, available while supplies last. Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse Square, the upscale luxury hotel merging French flair with American style located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, is celebrating the start of a new year with a three-course dinner from 6pm – 8pm for $90 per person followed by a four-course dinner from 9pm until late for $125 per person, hosted in Liberté Lounge and curated by Executive Chef Sylva Senat. Stella of New Hope, Bucks County’s modern American restaurant with stunning 180 degree views of the Delaware River, is celebrating New Year’s Eve with a special evening boasting a four-course tasting menu, live music and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. On Tuesday, December 31 from 5 pm to 11 pm, Stella of New Hope will be offering a four-course menu with highlights such as Joyce Farms Crispy Pork Belly, Wild Mushroom DumplingsWafyu Short RibRas El Hanout Crusted Duck Breast and more. Townsend, Chef Townsend Wentz’s French restaurant and bar on East Passyunk Avenue, has an elegant and exceptional multi-course dinner planned for New Year’s Eve, curated by Executive Chef Alex Nissley. For $100 per person, diners looking to celebrate say farewell to 2024 in style can expect six-courses of French fare with highlights such as Raw East Coast Oysters with pickled beets and lemon crème fraîche, Foie Gras Cavatelli with spinach and jus de poulet, Sweetbreads with parsnips, black garlic, and crispy potato, Venison with red cabbage, pomme purée, and green peppercorn gloss, and Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé with chartreuse anglaise.

The Twisted Tail, a Southern-inspired restaurant and live blues hotspot in Headhouse Square, invites guests to its 11th annual Burlesque & Blues celebration on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, from 4 pm to 1 am. The evening offers a four-course prix fixe dinner, live music by Mikey Jr. and his band at the upstairs Juke Joint, and glamorous burlesque performances. Guests can choose from three packages: The Lindy Hop ($30), which includes party entry and a champagne toast at midnight; The Jive ($89), which adds the dinner and party admission; and The Charleston ($179), an all-inclusive VIP experience with reserved seating, the prix fixe dinner, and a three-hour premium open bar. A la carte dining is also available from 4 PM to 5:45 pm, along with a $15 Kid’s Menu for children under 10.
