BLACK TRUMPET BLUEBERRY CORDIAL OVER ICE CREAM

The Art in the Age Black Trumpet Blueberry Cordial is made with hand-picked blueberries from the forest near Tamworth Distilling and foraged black trumpet mushrooms that grow under the low-bush blueberries. Mushrooms may seem like an unexpected choice — in fact, this is the only spirit we know of that uses them — but the rich, fruity, smoky flavor of the black trumpets provide a perfect counterbalance to the sweet, tart blueberries.

Here’s the scoop: foodies can take their favorite ice cream to the next level with just one ounce of the unique cordial poured over top, which pairs perfectly with vanilla, French vanilla, soft serve, lemon sorbet, OR even peanut butter ice cream for a riff on a PBJ. The black trumpet mushrooms impart a welcomed savory note to the sweet berries and creamy ice cream. Imbibers and ice cream lovers will love this adult twist on a classic summertime favorite (and, of course, if ice cream isn’t a preferred treat, it’s a perfect summer sipper on its own).

ABOUT THE PATHFINDER HEMP AND ROOT

The Pathfinder Hemp and Root is a hemp based, non-alcoholic spirit, fermented and distilled to deliver the intense flavor and aromatic characteristics of a spirit with none of the harmful effects of alcoholic beverages.

The Pathfinder is steeped in the rich history of the American West with a liquid that is just as wild as the landscape and the people that inhabited it. Inspired by the age of apothecaries and the homemade remedies often employed by pioneers’ homesteaders and snake oil salesmen alike, Hemp and Root equally hearkens to a bygone age as it raises the standard of flavor and quality in non-alcoholic spirits with an eye to the future.

In drinks, The Pathfinder behaves like a spirit and can be served in coffee, sipped neat, served on the rocks, or used as the base of a cocktail. In other words, it fits right into the back bar of your favorite bar or cafe as well as it does your home bar cart.
