For folks interested in celebrating the fang-tastic holiday, there are a plethora of fall-inspired, Halloween activities to engage in this year, including Fall Fest & Spooky Saturday on East Passyunk Avenuetipsy trivia at Art in the Age, a pet-friendly costume contest at The Bourse Food Hallan epic Halloween party at Franky Bradley’sand a costume bash at MilkBoy Philly!

Art in the Age, Old City’s esteemed tasting room, home bar supply, and bottle shop that hosts an extensive line of spirits from both Art in the Age and Tamworth Distilling, invites Philly imbibers and trivia lovers to its second-ever Halloween-themed edition of Tipsy Trivia on TuesdayOctober 26 at 7pm 

Trivia enthusiasts and Halloween lovers are welcome to join in on a ghoulishly good time of trivia and complimentary tastings of the limited-edition House of Tamworth Graverobber Unholy Rye. A table seats four people and tickets can be purchased here. 

Normal shop hours of operation are as follows: Tuesday to Thursday from 12 – 6pm, Friday and Saturday from 12 – 7pm, and Sunday 12 – 6pm. Closed Mondays.

The Bourse Food Hall, Old City’s modern artisanal food hall, is teaming up with Philadelphia-based animal shelter Morris Animal Refuge to host Howl-o-Ween Fall Fest, a fun-filled afternoon featuring a pet-friendly costume contest complete with a red carpet, fall-themed photo opportunities, prizes and trophies for canine champs and more, on SaturdayOctober 16 from 1pm to 3pm 

Those interested in attending can purchase tickets here. All tickets include entry into the pet costume contest and a photo of your furry friend. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales benefit Morris Animal Refuge.  

Hours of operation for The Bourse Food Hall are Monday through Thursday 7 am – 8 pm, Friday through Saturday 7 am – 10 pm, and Sunday 9 am – 6 pm.

East Passyunk Avenue, home to more than 160 independently-owned businesses in South Philadelphia, offers a double dose of fun in celebration of the spookiest day of the year with Fall Fest & Spooky Saturday on SaturdayOctober 30 kicking off at 11am 

To commemorate the fall season and Halloween, locals and visitors can partake in fall-themed festivities including a free costume photo booth (for children, adults, and pets), live music and entertainment, grab-and-go pumpkins, trick or treating at Avenue businesses, and more. Adults may enjoy exploring 40+ craft and arts vendors, spirited cocktails, seasonal fare, and so on.

Franky Bradley’s, Mark Bee’s effervescent funk- and kitsch-filled nostalgic restaurant and bar in the heart of Center City’s Midtown Village, offers a jam-packed schedule of events leading up to Halloween including its groovy GOLDMEMBER Halloween Party on Saturday, October 30 at 10pm 

Guests are encouraged to dress to impress in 70s and 80s-themed costumes, while dancing the night away to hits courtesy of Roxoff DJ’s Drootax and DJ Chris Urban spinning vinyl.
