June 9, 2021  It’s time to rosé all day! #NationalRoséDay is on Saturday, June 12, and we’ve gathered a slew of our favorite restaurants and bars to celebrate in Philadelphia. What better way to cool down in this late-spring heat than with a glass of refreshing rosé?

Assembly Rooftop Lounge, Center City’s chic rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, City Hall and the Philadelphia Museum of Art is the perfect place to cool down with a refreshing Frosé during the hot summer. Their popular Frosé cocktail consists of rosé, Cocchi Rosa, Dry Vermouth, strawberry, and lemon ($14). Guests can also try a glass of their Sparkling Rosé ($17) or Carmine Rosé ($16) while appreciating the view on this stylish rooftop.

East Passyunk Avenue, home to over 150 independently owned businesses in South Philadelphia, offers an array of top-tier restaurants and bars with impressive wine selections.  Barcelona Wine Bar boasts rosé-forward craft cocktails such as Guns & Rosés ($12) consisting of Brut Rosé, Lillet Rosé, Vodka, Peach Nectar, Lemon, Grapefruit Bitters, while Ember & Ash offers an exquisite Cantine Povero Rose ($10) paired perfectly with a cuisine of choice, creating what the chef calls “a modern approach to lost art.”

Fond, the acclaimed French-focused restaurant on East Passyunk Avenue, offers a variety of carefully-curated rosés available by the glass or bottle from their specially curated wine collection. Guests can sip on a glass of the Sparkling Brut Rosé ($13), Zweigelt Rosé ($12), or Le Saint André Rosé ($14), while enjoying the view of the lively Singing Fountain — right across the street.

Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard,” is a well-known hot spot with an extensive wine selection, ideal for celebrating National Rosé Day. Imbibers who are looking to celebrate at this popular destination can enjoy a glass of the special Rosé Aperol Spritz cocktail ($11), consisting of Aperol, lime, and sparkling rosé wine.  

Visitors can also indulge in a variety of rosé wines, ranging from extra dry Rosé ($11), Rosé Blend ($9), or Calkarasi Rosé ($12.50) in the Jet Wine Garden, their beautiful outdoor area. Jet Wine Bar offers bottles for purchase in their unique bottle shop as well.

Their new Pennsylvania-focused fine wine program features the Carmine Rosé ($16) from Wayvine Estate in Nottingham, PA, and the Bubbly Rosé ($15) from Galen Glen Winery in Andreas, PA. Available for guests to sip on indoors and outdoors on Urban Farmer’s sweeping patio overlooking the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 4:00 – 11 pm, and brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 2 pm.
