September 27, 2019 – This weekend, Philadelphia Brewing Co. teamed up with Pinups for Pitbulls Inc., The PA Liberty Belles, Greasers Social Club and the Clean Plate Club Truck for Pinups & Pints, a unique, retro fundraiser.
Pinups for Pitbulls Inc., is a non-profit dedicated to educating people about the history, temperament and plight of the pit bull-type dog. The occasion went old school with a classic car show, a pin up pageant, and plenty of friendly pups, including adoptable pit bulls from the Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT).
Attendees voted on the car show’s category winners, cheered for the pageant crowning of “Miss Hops,” crossed their fingers to win the raffle prize compliments of a range of Philadelphia retailers, and were greeted by tail-wagging pit bulls.
All the while enjoying home brewed pints, vegan bites from the Clean Plate Club Truck and frozen treats from Big Top’s Surfin’ Sundaes ice cream truck.
Between raffles, donation jars, car show registrations, and $1 of every Philadelphia Brewing Co. pint sold donated to the cause, Pinups & Pints raised just above $800.
