Priced at $65 per person, the three-course experience has become a signature tradition at the restaurant, offering guests a classic steakhouse-style meal in Fond’s intimate, BYOB setting.
The menu begins with a choice of French Onion Soup or Endive Salad with Warm Bacon Dressing, followed by a generous 12 oz. Prime Rib served with potatoes au gratin, seasonal vegetables, au jus, and horseradish cream. To conclude, guests are treated to a timeless dessert of Key Lime Pie with fresh strawberries. LITTLE WALTER’S CHEF MICHAEL BRENFLECK JOINS THE BAKERY FOR ONE-NIGHT COLLABORATIVE DINNER
Chef Michael Brenfleck of Little Walter’s — East Kensington’s contemporary Polish restaurant and bar recently recognized on The New York Times’ Restaurant List 2024 — will team up with Rocco Weiss of The Bakery in South Philadelphia for a one-night-only six-course blind tasting dinner on Wednesday, September 10 at 6:30pm. The immersive menu will blend Italian American staples with traditional Polish fare in an intimate setting for just 20 guests at The Bakery. BYOB is encouraged.
The collaboration expands Weiss’s After Hours by Rocco series of monthly blind tasting dinners, with this edition inspired by the neighborhood’s strong Polish roots. THIRD ANNUAL SUNSET SOIRÉE AT STRATUS ROOFTOP LOUNGE
Stratus Rooftop Lounge, Philadelphia’s leading year-round rooftop lounge and bar, will mark the close of summer and the arrival of autumn with the third annual Sunset Soirée, taking place on Friday, September 12 beginning at 6:30pm. Guests will experience a thoughtfully curated menu by Chef Alex Nissley, designed to highlight the flavors and traditions of the Southwest France region, with Winemaker Clément Gaspard guiding diners through each pour.
