Whether it’s sipping a refreshing rosé-based cocktail or enjoying a glass of still or sparkling rosé, Philadelphia’s restaurant and bar scene has no shortage of offerings fit for celebrating National Rosé Day on Saturday, June 10. For those looking to partake in the festivities, we’ve rounded up a bevy of oysters and rosé pairings, wine flights, frosé, and more, from locales including Assembly Rooftop Lounge, Forsythia, The Dutch, Royal Boucherie, and Panorama Wine Bar.

—

Assembly Rooftop Lounge, The Logan Hotel’s year-round swanky rooftop bar, has recently transformed into The Grove, a coastal Italian pop-up, featuring an Aperitivo Hour, Mediterranean menus, and unparalleled views. While the rooftop bar’s menus rotate seasonally, one cocktail remains: the Frosé. Rosé lovers looking for an extra refreshing frozen treat can head to The Grove at Assembly for its über-popular Frosé ($16), boasting Cocchi rosa, dry vermouth, strawberry, lemon, and rosé. The cocktail is also available during Aperitivo Hour Sunday-Thursday from 4-5pm for only $10.

—

Forsythia, Chef Christopher Kearse’s contemporary French restaurant and bar in Old City, is commemorating National Rosé Day with an all-new seasonal Oysters on the Half Shell (half dozen; Wellfleet, MA; $20) topped with rosé vinegar sorbet, featured on the brunch and dinner menu. Additionally, imbibers can enjoy glasses of Provence Rosé for just $12 all day long on Saturday, June 10.

—

The Dutch, the popular breakfast-through-dinner eatery with a focus on reinventing the Pennsylvania Dutch classics, will be extending its fan-favorite Oysters & Rosé (typically served every Thursday evening) to Saturday, June 10 from 5 – 10pm in honor of National Rosé Day. Available exclusively at the bar and patio, rosé-lovers can celebrate the holiday with a half dozen oysters and glass of rosé for just $19 per person.

For those seeking rosé during the day, The Dutch offers a refreshing Passionfruit Bellini ($13) comprised of fresh passionfruit purée and a perfectly bubbled, sparkling rosé featured on the coveted brunch menu served from 8am until 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

—

Royal Boucherie, Old City’s lively and atmospheric neighborhood restaurant and bar, boasts a selection of rosé-centric offerings fit for all types of oenophiles this National Rosé Day, all priced at $10 each. The aptly dubbed “Rosé All Day” menu includes a glass of sparkling or still rosé, the effervescent La Vie en Rosé made with Lillet Rosé and sparkling rosé, and a non-alcoholic alternative titled Moira Rose, comprised of non-alcoholic sparkling rosé and hibiscus mint.

At Jet Wine Bar & Garden, Philadelphia’s home for adventurous wine drinkers, oenophiles can celebrate with unique rosés hailing from regions far from France: Current rosé offerings include Calkarasi Rosé ($15/$60) from Turkey boasting notes of sea salt, watermelon, and rose petals; Areni Noir ($13/$52) from Armenia with a profile consisting of ripe cherries, baking spices, and volcanic rock, and Espadeiro Rose ($11/$44), from Portugal, presenting wild strawberry, grapefruit zest and salinity. Jet Wine Bar’s offerings rotate consistently to offer imbibers an always-new selection to choose from.

Alternatively, cocktail enthusiasts can get their rosé on with the perfectly pink Rosé Aperol Spritz ($12/$36 pitcher), crafted with Aperol, lime, and sparkling rose wine on National Rosé Day (and beyond).

These libations can be enjoyed indoors at Jet Wine Bar’s retro-chic bar space, or outdoors in the lush garden, adorned with mural-clad walls and vibrant foliage.
