This Easter (Sunday, April 5), restaurants across the Philadelphia region are marking the holiday with festive brunch features and seasonal dishes designed for leisurely celebrations. From standout brunch plates to special holiday menus and family-friendly dining experiences, here’s a look at what some of the region’s favorite destinations—including Patchwork, Red Owl Tavern, Seaview Hotel and Golf Club, Square 1682, Stella of New Hope, and The Twisted Tail—have planned for the occasion.

Patchwork, a vibrant New American restaurant and bar on the second floor of the Hyatt Centric Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia, is offering an Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 5 from 7am-12pm. For $42 per person, guests can enjoy beloved brunch favorites including French Toast, Pancakes, Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Eggs and more. In addition, the brunch will feature a carving station serving sliced ham. 

To add to the fun, the Easter Bunny will be available for pictures and visits from 10am – 12pm.

Red Owl Tavern, the contemporary kitchen and bar located across from Independence Hall in Old City, is celebrating Easter weekend with special holiday brunch features available Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 from 11 am to 4 pm, served alongside the restaurant’s regular brunch menu. Highlights include Steak + Eggs, a coffee–black pepper rubbed flat iron served with crispy tallow fries, sunny eggs, charred scallion salsa verde, and horseradish crème fraîche; a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake accompanied by crispy smashed fingerling potatoes, shaved asparagus and fennel salad, charred lemon, and Green Goddess remoulade; and Spanish-Style Torrijas, caramelized brioche soaked in orange zest–cinnamon custard and topped with strawberry–rhubarb compote, crema catalana, toasted Marcona almonds, and flaky sea salt.

Guests can also enjoy Red Owl Tavern’s signature Mimosa Brunch ($25 per person), available Saturdays and Sundays with the purchase of any entrée and including a bottle of sparkling wine served with a choice of orange or cranberry juice.

For families headed down to the shore for Easter weekend, Seaview Hotel and Golf Club, the New Jersey Shore’s quintessential seaside resort located just outside Atlantic City and an hour drive from Philadelphia, is hosting an Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 5 from 10am – 3pm. Taking place in the hotel’s grandiose Main Dining Room, Seaview’s Easter Brunch will boast various stations with something for everyone in the family, including a Chef Carving Station, Chef Omelet Station, Seafood Station and more. Additionally, families can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, a special visit from the Easter bunny, and a photo booth to commemorate the day.

Square 1682, the modern American upbeat kitchen located on the ground level of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar, is offering a memorable Easter brunch experience. Guests can enjoy exclusive specials including Eggs Florentine ($20) with sautéed spinach, hollandaise, and breakfast potatoes; an Easter Frittata ($21) with asparagus, tomatoes, and goat cheese served with a salad; and Mixed Berry French Toast ($18) topped with streusel and whipped cream.

Stella of New Hope, Bucks County’s modern American restaurant located in the Ghost Light Inn with 180-degree views of the Delaware River, is inviting guests to celebrate with a festive lineup of Easter Sunday brunch specials. Highlights include Easter “Bird’s Nest” Cinnamon Buns ($15), soft spiced rolls coated in coconut glaze, topped with toasted coconut flakes, and finished with classic Cadbury Mini Eggs; Lavender Honey & Blueberry Pancakes with Lemon Curd & Chantilly Cream ($20), layered with silky house-made lemon curd, drizzled with lavender honey, and finished with Chantilly cream and toasted almonds; and the Crab & Asparagus Frittata with Lemon Ricotta & Herbs ($20), featuring sweet lump crab, tender asparagus, and creamy ricotta.

The Twisted Tail, the Southern-inspired restaurant, bar, and live Juke Joint on Headhouse Square, is celebrating Easter with a three-course prix fixe menu on Sunday, April 5 from 10 am to 4 pm. For $45 per person, guests can enjoy highlights such as an Easter Salad tossed with Lolla Rosa lettuce, pickled grapes, roasted mushrooms, truffle vinaigrette, and whipped goat cheese, as well as Spicy Big Eye Tuna served with avocado, crispy shallots, chili, and wonton cups. Second-course standouts include the Spring Omelet composed of spinach, ricotta, tomato, and spring onions, served alongside an arugula salad, and Lamb Benedict featuring leg of lamb, poached eggs, mustard hollandaise, and fries.
To finish, guests can choose from three desserts: a Lemon Tart with strawberry and mint, Vanilla Panna Cotta served with caramelized pineapple, or Chocolate Pot de Crème topped with espresso whipped cream.
