Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, the stylish boutique hotel located on the nation’s most historic square mile and adjacent to Independence Hall, is poised to reveal a full renovation of all 268 guest rooms and suites, as well as updates to the fitness center and other guest facing areas at the historic Lafayette Building in Old City. Work is slated to wrap on February 28.

Designed by award winning interior design firm Beleco, the renovation encompasses all guest rooms, suites, and guest room corridors with thoughtful updates including all-new wall covering, furniture, mattresses, linens, throw pillows, artwork, window dressings, lighting, and more. The new look features a neutral palette punctuated with muted hues of greens and blues, rich textures, brass hardware, abstract art, and fanciful wallcoverings.

Additional onsite renovations include a full rethink of the fitness center, featuring new flooring, wallcovering, and window treatments, along with a free weight station equipped for yoga and stretching exercises, multi station exercise unit, towel and water station, top of the line cardiovascular machines including treadmills, Peloton bikes, ellipticals, and updated strength training equipment.

“As we prepare to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary, we are thrilled to reveal our new rooms with our guests, neighbors, and the city of Philadelphia,” said James Adamson, General Manager of Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia. It’s exhilarating to see our much-loved hotel reinterpreted in a fresh light. The essence of the Kimpton brand and the vision brought by Beleco blend seamlessly in the result of our new interiors. We can’t wait to show them off.”
