Who says the party has to stop when the alcohol dries up? Bring some fizz and flavor to this upcoming Dry January by celebrating the art of non-alcoholic cocktails. 48 Record Bar, the stylish listening room and cocktail bar perched above Philadelphia’s legendary Sassafras in historic Old City, has officially debuted its winter 2024-2025 menu replete with thoughtful cocktails and a host of zero-proof alternatives. Imbibers searching for innovative takes on non-alcoholic libations to sip on throughout Dry January can opt for the Polyester Dinosaur ($12) crafted with pineapple, turmeric-honey syrup, ginger, lemon, and tajín rim (optionally topped with ginger ale or seltzer), Wit or Witout ($12) comprised of cranberry, pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime, vanilla, and cherry and orange bitters, and the Coconut Matcha Mojito ($12) prepared with cream of coconut, lime juice, matcha tea, mint muddle, and splash of club soda.

Bluebird Distilling, Phoenixville’s grain-to-glass craft distillery, boasts several spirit-free libations, perfect for any mindful imbiber, including:

Char & Stave, the Pennsylvania roastery and full-service café-by-day, cocktail bar-by-night helmed by Jared Adkins of Bluebird Distilling, is the perfect spot to enjoy a zero-proof libation during Dry January, with options including traditional coffee beverages, in addition to unique non-alcoholic craft beverages, such as:

Little Walter’s, Philadelphia’s new contemporary Polish restaurant and bar from Chef/Owner Michael Brenfleck and recently acclaimed in The New York Times’ The Restaurant List 2024 for 50 Favorite Places in America Right Now, boasts a diverse selection of zero-proof cocktails dubbed “bezalkoholowe” on the menu which translates to “non-alcoholic” in Polish.
