Whether texting the groupchat to grab drinks or looking for a solo post-work pick-me-up, Philadelphians can celebrate this National Happy Hour Day (Tuesday, November 12) with the city (and ‘burbs)’s newest food and drink happy hour specials from 48 Record Bar, Assembly Rooftop Lounge, Jansen, Little Walter’s, Puttshack, The Twisted Tail, and Urban Farmer.

48 Record Bar, the high-tech listening room and cocktail bar located above Old City’s legendary Sassafras, has recently debuted its first-ever happy hour dubbed Golden Hour offered Wednesday through Friday from 5-7pm. Imbibers looking to end the work day on a high note can indulge in Golden Hour’s $4 High Life, $8 spritz of the week, or $10 cocktail of the week while enjoying a curated listening experience in the city’s vibiest cocktail lounge.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge, Center City’s swanky rooftop lounge with panoramic views of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, City Hall, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is the ideal spot to unwind after a long day, Guests are invited to head up the elevator of The Logan Hotel and enjoy Happy Hour, offered Sunday through Thursday from 5 pm to 6 pm. Guests can sip on $6 featured beer, $10 rotating cocktail, $12 wine and a $15 Rose Gold Margarita & Mini Barbacoa Taco. For light bites, guests can indulge in Toasted Sesame Hummus ($10) served with carrots, baby peppers, heirloom cherry tomatoes and warm pita, and Margherita ($10) with pomodoro sauce, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and basil pesto.

Jansen, Mt. Airy’s contemporary and award-winning New American restaurant by Chef David Jansen, is excited to announce the extension of its fan-favorite Summer Fridays Happy Hour, now available from Tuesday through Friday anywhere throughout the restaurant, beginning November 5. From 5-6 PM each weekday, guests are invited to enjoy $9 craft cocktails and wines, along with $5 off all appetizers (excluding oysters). Jansen’s thoughtfully curated happy hour menu features unique libations such as the Sweet Pea Gimlet, crafted with house-infused sweet pea vodka, mint, and lime; the Ginger Kiss, blending house-infused candied ginger vodka with lemon juice and limoncello; and the Pastel Margarita, made with tequila, lime, simple syrup, triple sec, and butterfly pea flower tea.

Little Walter’s, Philadelphia’s new contemporary Polish restaurant and bar from Chef/Owner Michael Brenfleck, has recently launched its Szczęśliwa Godzinaor more commonly known in these parts, as Happy Hour. Monday from 4-8pm, and Tuesday through Saturdayfrom 4-6pm, happy hour heads can clink $9 cocktails such as Piłkarz (Little Walter’s popular pickle juice martini); Urbanista (16 oz bottle of Żubr Polish lager and shot of Żubrówka Polish Vodka); and Wino-iewski (blackberry nalewka, sparkling wine); along with $5 select beer and wine by the glass; while snacking on $6 small plates of Ser Grillowany (think grilled cheese with smoked gouda, Cooper sharp, and farmer cheese) and Pierogi Ruskie.

Puttshack, the world’s first and only tech-infused mini golf experience, is teeing up with an all-new happy hour menu. Monday through Thursday from 3-6pm, putters can enjoy $6 bites including Southwest Chicken QuesadillasOnion DipLoaded Tots, and Nashville Hot Bao Buns in addition to 16oz. The Twisted Tail, Headhouse Square’s restaurant, bar and live music venue, has recently launched a late-night weekend happy hour. Offered at the upstairs bar from 10pm-12am on Fridays and Saturdays, guests can expect discounts on bites and beverages such as buck-a-shuck oysters, $5 Crawfish Mac & Cheese, and discounted draft beer.

The Twisted Tail offers a daily Social Hour from 4pm-6pm, available at the first floor bar.

For those looking for an afternoon pick me up, Urban Farmer, the modern American steakhouse located in the Logan Hotel known for its locally sourced ingredients and in-house butcher shop, boasts a Happy Hour offered Sunday – Thursday from 5 pm to 6 pm. Guests can indulge in discounted bites including a $10 Smash Burger, $7 Baked Mac & Cheese, $6 fries and more. Guests can sip on $8 house wine, $8 house beer and an $8 Old Fashioned. 

Newly launched on the Happy Hour menu is the Mother’s Little Helper ($18) featuring a house gin or vodka martini, caviar deviled egg, and truffle fries.
