Corn Shines in Fishtown Bakery’s New Seasonal Selections Including Corn-Blueberry Cupcakes, Elote Croissants, and More
Cake Life Bake Shop, Philadelphia’s award-winning small-batch artisanal bakery and all-day café, is thrilled to announce a shuck-load of new, corn-themed seasonal menu items! With corn in peak season, Cake Life Bake Shop is offering sweet or savory offerings that use whole corn kernels in a variety of baked goods including an Elote Croissant and Blueberry Corn Cupcakes — perfect for picnics, drive-in movies, late summer soirees, and more.
Available for dine in or take out at Cake Life Bake Shop (1306 Frankford Ave) and available on UberEats from dawn till husk.

Sweet Corn Specials:
- Blueberry-Corn Cupcake ($5 each) – Sweet corn cake brushed with vanilla-corn syrup, filled with blueberry compote, then topped with blueberry buttercream and fresh blueberries.
- Blueberry-Corn Layer Cake (4”/$44, 6”/$76, 8”/$112, 9”/$150, ¼ sheet/$185) – Sweet corn cake brushed with vanilla-corn syrup; layered with cream cheese frosting, blueberry compote, and fresh blueberries; frosted in blueberry buttercream; and topped with more fresh blueberries and gold croquants.
Savory Corn Specials:
- Elote Croissant ($8) – Spicy, cheesy, tangy Mexican street corn flavors meet Cake Life’s crisp, buttery croissant! Each one is filled with creamy elote corn and topped with cotija cheese and a Tajin-dipped lime.
- Poblano Corn Quiche with Chorizo ($7.50/Slice, or $44/9”/Serves 8) – Creamy, cheesy quiche studded with a sweet and spicy mix of corn, poblano peppers, cheddar, and chorizo sausage, all in a savory, buttery shell.
Visitors are encouraged to come by in person to select corn-inspired treats , pre-order online for pick-up, or order on UberEats.
