Dock Street Brewing Company, Philadelphia’s award-winning woman-owned and operated original craft brewery founded in 1985, serves up two burger choices at Dock Street South to perfectly pair with their award winning brews. The DS Double Smash Burger ($16) includes caramelized onions, American cheese, comeback sauce, and house made beer pickles in a brioche bun with potato chips. The Double Chickpea Burger ($16) made with caramelized onions in between two chickpea patties, topped with pickles and lettuce, on a vegan seeded bun. Vegan cheese is available for an extra price.

Forsythia, Chef Christopher Kearse’s contemporary and innovative French restaurant and bar in Old City, is dishing out some serious burgers with elevated and tangy twists. The off-menu Burger Royale ($18), available during brunch and dinner, offers the perfect bun to meat ratio, with two smash patties topped with onion jam, comté, house pickles, Chef Kearse’s home-made comeback sauce, and choice of adding a sunny-egg for the perfect savory addition. MilkBoy, the iconic Philadelphia-born brand known for booze, bites, and music, has curated a variety of must-try burgers at both of its South Street and Chestnut Street locations. The fan-favorite Hangover Burger ($17) is available at both spots, and consists of a 5 oz beef patty, American cheese, fried onion, jalapeño, bacon, egg, and chipotle mayo, boasting with flavor and spice. The Farm Burger ($22) is topped with white cheddar, tomato jam, aioli, served between a house-made english muffin. Additional toppings such as avocado ($3) and smoked bacon ($3.50) are available to add as well. The Farm Burger is available during lunch and brunch service. For those in the mood for a late afternoon/evening burger, Urban Farmer will satisfy that need with the Smash Burger ($9) made with house ground beef, aioli, cheddar, and brioche.
