May 31, 2023 — Some of the city’s best hotels, bars, and venues are celebrating Pride Month with exciting events and themed beverages that both recognize, benefit, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community such as the inaugural Four Star Drag Brunch at Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia, the Pride Day Party and Market at Dock Street South, Pride Drag High Tea at Assembly Rooftop Lounge, and the annual Pride Flight at Jet Wine Bar.

Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia, the upscale lifestyle hotel nestled in bustling Rittenhouse Square, is teaming up with Patchwork Restaurant to kick off Pride Month with the launch of Four Star Drag Brunch series on Saturday, June 3 from 11 am to 2 pm, in tandem with the second annual Pride Makers Mini Market running from 10 am to 3 pm. Additionally, the ongoing Maker Series, a monthly series featuring art displays by local artists and makers, continues with Philadelphia-based artist Nahova, complete with a “Meet The Artist” opening reception on Thursday, June 8 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
To top it all off, Hyatt Centric is offering a Pride Summer package in June and July, including a discounted rate, complimentary late check-out, and a $25 Food & Beverage credit for Patchwork Restaurant, perfect for guests from out of town celebrating Pride in Philadelphia. Dock Street Brewing Company, Philadelphia’s award-winning woman-owned and operated original craft brewery founded in 1985, is celebrating love and liberation at its Point Breeze brewery, taproom and restaurant, Dock Street South, by throwing a Pride Day Party and Market on Saturday, June 3 from 1 pm to 5 pm featuring a live DJ, themed craft cocktail and beer specials, a raffle benefitting The Attic, and an array of LGBTQIA+ artists and makers showcasing and selling art, jewelry, decor, and more.
Decked out in pride flags galore and a reflective disco ball, Dock Street South will be serving up their delicious hand tossed wood-fired pizza, sandwiches, salads, and small plates and slinging their award-winning brews and array of Pride themed craft cocktails for party fuel. The Nightowl will keep the party going with iconic anthems while guests party and shop from various local queer artists, including candle makers: 2AM Creators, and fiber artist: Noelle. Guests can also participate in a raffle benefitting The Attic Youth Center to win Dock Street Beer and Dock Street Spirits gear such as a 4-pack, Vicio Mezcal, and more goodies.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge, the swanky ninth-floor year-round cocktail bar and lounge overlooking the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, is in its second season of Drag High Tea! This month’s installment, scheduled on Sunday, June 11 from 10 am to 2 pm, will be centered around the celebration of PRIDE! Hosted by The Geriatric Gem herself, Dominique Lee, the afternoon tea service, dubbed Courses and Corsets, will feature performances from Mandy Mango, Nikita Sinnn-Monroe, and Sasha Magnolia; a four course LGBTQIA+ themed brunch, welcome cocktails, and more!

In celebration of Pride Month, Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s global vineyard, is bringing back its annual Pride Flight ($45), available during the entire month of June! The candy-colored flight includes six unique pours, each representing a different color of the Pride rainbow. From a yellow Austrian Reisling to a blue bubbly from California, imbibers can enjoy a global array of vibrant wines while simultaneously supporting the LGBTQ+ community — a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the William Way LGBT Community Center, the Philadelphia non-profit organization that serves as a resource and hub for the LGBT+ community.
The Pride Flight will be available all June long, during Jet’s opening hours (Wednesday and Thursday 5pm-10pm, Friday 5pm-12am, and Saturday 4pm-12am).
