March 15, 2023 – Let the shenanigans begin! This St. Patricks Day, Philadelphians can try their luck at local businesses around town with themed parties and specials spanning a cocktail workshop with Tullamore DEW, to a charitable St. Patrick’s Day breakfast, festive tipples, Irish Citywides, brunch specials to full-blown celebrations.

Art in the Age, Philadelphia’s one-of-a-kind tasting room, home bar supply, and bottle shop, will be teaming up with Tullamore DEW Irish Whiskey ahead of St Patrick’s Day with the second annual St. Paddy’s Cocktail Workshop on March 13 at 7 pm. Cocktail enthusiasts can ditch the kitschy green beer and join Seamus Banning, Philadelphia’s Tully sales representative, to learn about Irish whiskey, while sipping custom libations courtesy of Lee Noble, Art in the Age Mixologist, featuring Tullamore’s flagship whiskey. Tickets are available now for $100, which includes two seats at the bar, two craft cocktails per guest, a gift bag of Tullamore DEW gear, and a 10% shopping discount during the class.
Additionally, Art in the Age’s expert mixologists will be mixing up a St. Patrick’s cocktail special from Friday, March 17 through Sunday, March 19. Dubbed Top o’ the Mornin’ ($12), this lucky sipper is inspired by the taste of an Irish coffee, the look of an espresso martini, and the luck of… well, Lucky Charms. Jackie Nevin, Art in the Age Mixologist, stirs up Philadelphia’s Bean2Bean Franklin Reserve espresso blend, Brothership Irish Whiskey, brown sugar simple syrup, water, topped with Lucky Charms infused whipped cream and marshmallow. Whether enjoyed as a morning pick-me-up or an evening night cap, this magical cocktail will fuel any imbiber’s festivities all day long.

The Dutch, the popular breakfast, lunch, and dinner eatery with a focus on reinventing the Pennsylvania Dutch classics, is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with breakfast and dinner specials available all week starting on Monday, March 13. Festive breakfast offerings include Corned Beef Hash and Irish Coffeeutilizing neighboring roaster Rival Bros. Coffee. Gaul & Co. Malt House, the neighborhood gastropub known for good food, booze, and people, and home of the “Wit-or-Witowski” Kielbasa Cheesesteak, has an over-the-top line-up of spirited happenings planned for St. Patrick’s Day at both the Port Richmond and Rockledge locations — both of which are opening for service at 8 am on Friday, March 17. Gaul & Co. Malt House Rockledge is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day breakfast for AOH/LAOH Division Catholic School Scholarships from 9am until 12pm with Irish Breakfast Platters ($20) and Breakfast Sandwiches ($20) with $10 from each food sale benefiting catholic school scholarships. Live entertainment will be provided by Joe Mullin starting at 9am, and later on in the evening by CJ, Mike Shackelton & Jimmy V beginning at 8pm.
At the recently-launched Port Richmond location, the Gaul & Co. Malt House team will be offering an assortment of Irish Breakfast and Breakfast Sandwiches in addition to live music from CJ & Bougie (11am – 2pm), followed by local DJ spinning throughout the evening. Additionally, both Gaul & Co. Malt House locations will be mixing up a spirited sipper fit for the occasion aptly dubbed Patty McMalty, a chocolate martini featuring Bailey’s Irish Cream. Urban Farmer, Logan Square’s rustic chic modern American steakhouse, is getting in the Irish spirit with food and drink specials.
