Trendsetters everywhere are making a statement and embracing hyper-femininity while clad in vibrant pink, monochromatic outfits. Here in Philly, Barbiecore observers are not only sporting glamorous Barbie-esque outfits, but they’re also drinking glamorous (and delicious) pink cocktails. Compiled below is a list of Philadelphia’s most beautiful and refreshing pink concoctions from local dollhouses such as Forsythia, Assembly Rooftop Lounge, Stratus Rooftop Lounge, Rex at The Royal, Red Owl Tavern, Royal Boucherie, The Dutch, Franky Bradley’s, Art in the Age, and Patchwork.

Forsythia, Old City’s contemporary French bar and restaurant helmed by Chef Christopher Kearse, boasts an array of equally vibrant and flavorful cocktails. Notably rose-tinted, the La Vie en Rose is a magenta elixir made of gin, luxardo bitter bianco, lime cordial, and Lillet rose.

The Grove at Assembly Rooftop Lounge is a tropical bungalow-inspired pop-up boasting island cocktails, exotic plant life, and a relaxing ambiance paired with unparalleled views perfect for any Malibu Barbie. The pop-up bar’s cocktail menu features a rosy spin on a summertime favorite: the Rose Gold Margarita ($15) is delicious as it is beautiful with its thoughtfully curated blend of reposado, dry curaçao, lime, agave, orange blossom, and rose petal garnish.

Stratus Rooftop Lounge, the chic rooftop venue on the 11th floor of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Old City, offers the Pink Robin, a flavorful twist on a Barbie Girl classic, the Cosmopolitan. This vibrant pink sensation is comprised of Grey Goose, dragon fruit, Licor 43, and lime juice, and is served up in a martini glass (sans plastic).

Additionally, imbibers can indulge in a glamorous and bubbly Midnight Red. Being a Barbie girl in a Barbie world takes up a lot of energy, and the Midnight Red cocktail is sure to provide the necessary boost needed to keep the party going all night long with its blend of Grey Goose watermelon & basil, Redbull watermelon, Ancho Reyes, and lime juice.

Rex at The Royal, Philly’s destination for elevated Southern and Lowcountry cuisine, offers a sprightful cocktail menu any refined pink-drink connoisseur would love. The menu features the ever-saturated Groundbreaking cocktail, made with herb and flower-infused gin, luxardo maraschino, lavender, and lemon.

Red Owl Tavern, the contemporary kitchen and bar located across from Independence Hall in Old City, recently released its new summer menu with curated seasonal cocktails. The most pink of the new libations proves Barbiecore drinks don’t always have to the sweet– they can also be spicy. The Snap Dragon ($16) packs a smoky punch with its blend of mezcal, cachaça, dragon fruit, Ancho Reyes Verde, smoked chili, lime, and tajin.

Royal Boucherie, Old City’s lively and atmospheric neighborhood bistro, features the Rue de Fraises, French for the euro-centric hotspot’s home address, Strawberry Street.
