February 25, 2022 – Morris Animal Refuge is pleased to announce the 25th installment of their annual gala, The Silver Fur Ball: 25 Years of a Life Saving Celebration. The return of the shelter’s largest in-person fundraiser will benefit homeless, abandoned, and unwanted pets of the Greater Philadelphia region.
The Silver Fur Ball will be held at the Bellevue Philadelphia in the historic ballroom on Friday, March 25 and will kick off with a VIP cocktail hour 6pm – 7pm, followed by the event reception 7 – 11pm. Tickets are available NOW and begin at $175 per person for general admission and includes 4-hour open bar, delicious fare, live music and dancing all night long. Those looking for an extra hour of fun can enjoy all this and more – with the $195 VIP ticket.
Attendees can look forward to a glamorous evening of dancing in the elegant ballroom at the Bellevue Hotel, as well as gourmet fare and an open bar featuring signature cocktails such the Clover Club – a true Philadelphia original and named for a men’s club that was founded in 1896 and met at the historic Bellevue hotel. Entertainment will be courtesy of DJ Perry Angelozzi, and partygoers will have the opportunity to meet some of the shelter’s most adorable kittens and pups at Puppy and Kitty Cuddling Stations.
Emceed by Steve Morrison of WMMR’s Preston and Steve, the event will recognize outstanding members of the Morris Animal Refuge community and provide guests the opportunity to raise money in fun and unique ways, such as entering the 50/50 raffle, a robust silent auction, and a live-auction style Fund The Mission, where sponsor ARM & HAMMER will match all pledges up to $10,000.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards helping the homeless, abandoned, and unwanted pets of the Greater Philadelphia region and will help support America’s first animal shelter with vital programs including the Lifesaver Fund, the Fostering Program, and the Adoption Program.
