Then The Twisted Tail has the cocktail for you!

George Reilly, owner + beverage director of The Twisted Tail, has crafted The Fur Ball — made with Bluebird Rye Whiskey, Grapefruit, and grenadine — $10.

Imbibe on this cocktail-for-a-cause at tonight’s Yappy Hour, from 6-8pm at The Twisted Tail — 509 S. 2nd Street. Guests will also enjoy happy hour highlights such as Chef Leo Forneas’ Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich (Cabot Cheddar, Rosemary Mayo, Brioche Bun) for $5, Spicy Salmon Poke (Cucumber, Avocado, Chili) for $6, and Crawfish Mac ’n’ Cheese (Aged Cheddar, Toasted Breadcrumbs) for $4.

The best part? Bluebird Distilling and The Twisted Tail – will be donating proceeds from each cocktail sold to the Morris Animal Refuge, America’s first animal shelter, in celebration of Morris’ 20th Anniversary of their annual gala, the Fur Ball. The yearly celebration is the refuge’s single largest fundraiser and goes to helping the homeless, abandoned and unwanted pets of the Philadelphia region.
