Top Chef Winner, Chef Jennifer Carroll, heads Philly’s first “Chefs Behind Bars” tonight from 5-8 pm at Charlie was a sinner. Guests who donate $15 at the door will receive “The Good Behavior,” a special drink created with Philadelphia Distilling Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin. One hundred percent of “Chef Behind Bars” ticket proceeds will support No Kid Hungry thanks to generous local sponsors – Charlie was a sinner., Jerry’s Bar and Bluecoat Barrel Aged Gin.

Tonight, host Chef Ted Manko and general manager Pete Venuto of Charlie was a sinner. will be joined by Chef Jennifer Carroll for the inaugural “Chefs Behind Bars” happy hour. Next Tuesday, April 27, the happy hour celebration for No Kid Hungry will continue at Jerry’s Bar. Admission is $15 and will include one drink at both events.

Special discounted tickets for Taste of the Nation Philadelphia, which supports No Kid Hungry‘s work to end childhood hunger in America, will be available to purchase at “Chefs Behind Bars” happy hours. Bring a friend and come out to celebrate a good cause. – Carly Hammer
