Patchwork, a lively restaurant and bar focused on New American cuisine, located on the second floor of Hyatt Centric Center City, is dropping a special for the record books: a Beer + Burger + Shot for just $21, available Friday, May 27 through Sunday, May 29. Folks can enjoy the signature Patchwork Burger, served on a brioche bun with cambozola, onion marmalade, and a lemon garlic mayo, while sipping on a local brew from Love City Brewing, accompanied by a bartender’s choice shot of whiskey.

Forsythia, Old City’s contemporary French bar and restaurant helmed by Chef Christopher Kearse, continues its Industry Night series this month on Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day). From 7 – 11 pm, guests can enjoy a spate of featured cocktails ($12) expertly curated by guest bartender Mike Nimmo (Beverage Director at Messina Social Club), in addition to local beer ($5) and French wines ($8). As for eats, Chef Christopher Kearse will be serving up complimentary BBQ-inspired fare. Following, restaurant peeps can partake in Industry Night every final Monday of each month.

Holy ‘Que Smokehouse, the Bucks County BYOB serving authentic Texas-style barbecue, has officially relaunched post-pandemic with an array of traditional, mouthwatering BBQ staples crafted by Founder and Pitmaster Tom Peters, including brisket, pulled pork, sandwiches, platters, desserts, and more. In celebration of May being National BBQ Month, the sought-after eatery is offering a complimentary side (think mac ‘n’ cheese, cider slaw, honey cornbread, etc.) with purchase of platter – available for dine-in and takeaway, all month long.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge, the Logan Hotel’s year-round swanky rooftop cocktail bar and lounge perched above the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, has transformed into The Grove at Assembly, a tropical bungalow-inspired pop-up boasting island cocktails, a bright seafood-centric menu, exotic plant life, and a relaxing ambiance paired with some of Philadelphia’s best views. The Twisted Tail, the Southern-inspired restaurant, bar and live music venue on Headhouse Square, is gearing up for the upcoming summer season and steamy temps with the return of the über popular (and very refreshing) Champagne Pop ($15), debuting Memorial Day Weekend. This effervescent sipper is composed of Champagne poured over dealer’s choice of ice pops, ranging in flavors from watermelon to pineapple to blueberry — served in a traditional coupe glass.
