October 22, 2019 – Art in the Age, Philadelphia’s one-of-a-kind tasting room, home bar supply and bottle shop, is inviting guests in for the release of The Reverend’s Universal Spirit and launch of The Good Reverend’s Guide to Infused Spirits on Friday, November 1 from 6 to 9 pm.

Imbibers can enjoy a night of mysticism, demonstrations, spiritual vibes and of course – indulgent tipples to kick off the release. Art in the Age is inviting The Good Reverend Michael Alan, his followers, and local collaborators to enjoy a cocktail menu using recipes from and inspired by the text, as well as Aura Portraits by Starlight Angels and star chart interpretations.

“This project has been in the works for a while and I am thrilled to launch both the spirit and corresponding book,” said Quaker City Mercantile owner Steven Grasse. “This versatile spirit is perfect for the at-home bartender, and paired with the book, will help them create their very own Art in the Age like concoctions at home.”

Presented by Grasse and conceived and created by Michael Alan and Sonia Kurtz, The Good Reverend’s Guide to Infused Spirits teaches readers the best ways to use The Reverend’s Universal Spirit. This all-encompassing-solution making, DIY spirit has many uses, applications and incantations for readers to discover.

Based out of Norristown, PA, Starlight Angels is headed by intuitive clairvoyant duo, Joel and Gabriele Straup. An Aura Portrait measures naturally existing electro-magnetic fields and is recorded by the camera and film as color fields. Each Aura Portrait session will include a 15 min interpretation by Joel or Gabriele, a 6-page analysis, and a photograph of the aura.

The event is free to attend with an RSVP, cocktails are pay-as-you-go, and Star Chart readings are first come, first serve. Aura Portraits are $50 and are by reservation only. Guests can RSVP and make Aura Portrait reservations here.
