June 5, 2019- This Father’s Day, forget the cuff links and ties and give dad what he really wants — a drink!
No matter if dad prefers creamy or clear cocktails, Art in the Age and Cooper’s Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey each shared one cocktail recipe to raise a glass to all fathers out there and to thank them for all the fun dad jokes they told us over the years!
Art in the Age, Philadelphia’s one-of-a-kind tasting room, home bar supply and bottle shop celebrates all fathers with a Smoked Manhattan creation; including whiskey, plum cordial, herbal bitters and charred rosemary smoke.
Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is all “Nuts about Dad” with a delicious bourbon mixed with walnut bitters, simple syrup and greek yogurt.

2 oz Kinsey 4 Year Rye Whiskey

1 oz Art in the Age Damson Plum Cordial

2 dashes Bittermens Scarborough Savory Herbal Bitters

Charred Rosemary Smoke

Smoke your coupe with charred rosemary. Add above ingredients to mixing pitcher. Add ice and stir. Pour into coupe. Garnish with plum slices.

SMOKE DIRECTIONS

Lay a 2 inch sprig of rosemary on a fireproof surface. Use a culinary torch to set the sprig on fire, and as soon as it starts to burn, cover the entire sprig of rosemary with the cocktail glass. The flame will die out quickly and the smoke will season the inside of the glass. Stir all ingredients together in a mixing glass with ice to chill thoroughly. Turn the smoked glass right side up and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with plum slices.
