March 7, 2019– On Monday, March 11th, Royal Boucherie will welcome two special guests for a onELMIe-time-only collaborative beer dinner experience. The four-course dinner + beer pairings will be hosted by celebrated Royal Boucherie chef Nicholas Elmi and his team. The restaurant, located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic Old City district, serves a French-inspired menu with a focus on house-made charcuterie, raw bar specialties, and classic cocktails.

Jamie Malone            The first guest is Chef Jamie Malone, Executive Chef at Minneapolis’ famed Grance Café. She was named “Best Chef Midwest” by the James Beard Foundation for 2014, 2015 and 2018. Malone’s style and technique will add a different dimension to each dish.

The next guest is Cicerone Adam Vavrick, Beer Director at  Chicago’s The Publican. Outside of The Publican, his commentary has been featured in other publications including Esquire and The adam vavrickNew York Times. Vavrick is a proponent of gender equality in the beer industry and sits on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Brewseum. Vavrick’s advanced beer related knowledge will bring great beverage pairings to the dinner.

“Jaime’s style and technique are immaculate and Adams knowledge is unparalleled,” said Chef Nicholas Elmi. “To have the two of them in the city at the same time was the perfect opportunity to get them together to put on a meal that fits right in at Royal Boucherie.”
