Stick to your new year’s resolutions with the help of Art in the Age’s ultimate booze-free cocktail workshop — “The Mocktail: Dry January” — on Thursday, January 24, 6-8 pm, at the Old City tasting room, home bar supply and bottle shop.

The workshop will feature a Q&A session with Art in the Age’s cocktail specialist, Lee Noble, a mixology demonstration and a hands-on workshop. Attendees will learn to combine herbal remedies and nutritious ingredients, as well as practice professional bartending techniques to make creative non-alcoholic cocktail concoctions.
Tickets are $40 and can be found here. Admission includes three non-alcoholic cocktails: the Non-hattan, the Faux-groni and the Corpse Reviver, Number Zero. Recipes for these fun, booze-free drinks are listed below.
Recipes:
 
Non-hattan – NA Manhattan
1 ½ oz Seedlip Spice 94
1 ½ oz Non-alcoholic Sweet Vermouth
½ oz maple syrup
2 dash Non-alcoholic aromatic bitters
Barefoot Tulsi Sage Mist
cherry garnish
 
Stir ingredients in a mixing pitcher with ice until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, and garnish with cocktail cherry.
 
 
Faux-groni – NA Negroni
1 oz Seedlip Garden and Spice
1 oz Non-alcoholic Italian Bitter
1 oz Non-alcoholic Sweet Vermouth
1/4 oz cold brew coffee
Barefoot Lemongrass Rinse
star anise garnish
 
Stir ingredients in a mixing pitcher with ice until chilled. Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Spray lemongrass mist onto the surface of the drink, and garnish with star anise.
 
 
Corpse Reviver, Number Zero – NA Corpse Reviver, N. 2
1 oz Seedlip Garden 108
1 oz Non-alcoholic Dry Vermouth
1 oz chilled butterfly pea tea
¾ oz lemon juice
Barefoot Fennel Rinse
lemon peel garnish
 
Rinse chilled coupe glass with fennel spray. Pour tea into glass. Shake all other ingredients together with ice. Fine strain into glass in view of the guest for color change. Garnish with lemon peel.
