10 August 2018– Who stole the Mona Lisa? What happened on the Orient Express? How did a crystal ball get taken from the Penn Museum? Who is the rightful owner of the One Ring?

Philadelphians can explore these crimes and the wines associated with them at Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard,” during Wines and Mysterious Crimes on Tuesday, August 14th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Jill Weber, Jet Wine Bar’s Owner and Wining Archaeologist, will guide attendees through five wines and describe the history of the wine, region and relation to the crime. Guests are encouraged to put their detective and oenology skills to the test while sampling the following wines:

· Zlatan Otok, Cuvee White Dalmatia (2015)

· Loveblock, Pinot Gris New Zealand (2014)

· Va La, Silk Pennsylvania

· Castello di Volpaia, Chianti Classico (2016)

· Aguijon de Abeja, Malbec Patagonia (2015)

Tickets are available here for $35, which includes five wine tastings, light snacks and 15% off the evening’s bar tab and special pricing on to-go bottles of the event’s wines. Attendees must be 21 plus to participate.

This event is an installment of Jet Wine Bar’s Time Traveler Tastings! The next event is Old World Vs. New World Wine Tasting Series: France vs. South Africa on September 12.
