18 July 2018 — Summer is in full swing and so is Sweat & Shrub! SWEAT Fitness, Philadelphia’s premier fitness club boasting seven Philadelphia-based locations, is partnering with Quaker City Shrubs, an all-natural sparkling alcoholic beverage, to offer fitness fanatics weekly outdoor cycling classes followed by a free wellness oriented happy hour.

SWEAT Fitness Fitler Square (200 S. 24th St.) and Manayunk (4151 Main St.) will host a Sweat & Shrub class once a week through the end of summer. Guests can sweat it out on stationary bikes on the sidewalk in front of the gym, and enjoy complimentary Shrubs post workout!

Classes will take place Wednesdays at SWEAT Fitness Fitler Square from 5:30-6:30 pm and Thursdays at Manayunk from 6-7 pm.

“We’re turning summer happy hours into a healthier outdoor experience with Sweat & Shrub,” said Tracy Shannon, SWEAT Fitness President“Philadelphians can get in a fulfilling workout and socialize afterwards over a low-calorie, all natural Shrub.”

Quaker City Shrubs is a brand-new line of sparkling tart and tangy canned alcoholic beverages made with apple cider vinegar. A healthier alternative to beer and hard seltzer, Quaker City Shrubs is a sessionable beverage coming in at 4% ABV with just 3 grams of sugar and only 90 calories. Natural fruit flavors include grapefruit, blackberry and apple.
