14 October 2016 – Come enjoy the most celebrated food in the region on Monday, October 17, 2016 when Philadelphia’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry comes to the 23rd Street Armory. The annual tasting event will feature the city’s top chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers and mixologists united for one cause: providing all children in this country with the healthy food they need, every day. Tickets are $95 for general admission at 7:00pm, or $150 for VIP Admission at 6:00pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in America.
Some of the more notable appearances will be from Amada, Bolete, Capogiro/Capofitto, Fork, Laurel, Scarpetta, Shake Shack, Townsend, The Twisted Tail, & Yards Brewery, and many more.
In 2015, Philadelphia’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry raised enough to help feed children in need more than 400,000 healthy meals. Let’s make it 500,000 healthy meals this year!
